You may be asked to provide information when you make a booking or ask to join our mailing list. In addition, we  may collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, e-mail address;  computer and connection information.

 

We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.

If you submit personal information when you are interested in working for us, this will include personal and previous employment or education details.

We require the above information to better understand your needs and provided you with better service and in particular to improve our  services, send marketing information and service emails (booking information and post-dining feedback), internal record keeping. We may use your information to improve or customise our website according to your interests.

We will only share your information with companies if necessary to deliver services on our behalf.  For example service providers (e.g. software used for the provision of online bookings), third-party payment processors, and other third parties to provide our Sites and fulfil your requests, and as otherwise consented to by you or as permitted by applicable law.

Third parties (including Wix) whose content appears on our Site may or may not use third-party Cookies, as detailed below. Please note that we do not control the activities of such third parties, nor the data they collect and use and advise you to check the privacy policies of any such third parties.

We only keep your personal data for as long as we need to in order to use it as described in this privacy policy, and/or for as long as we have your permission to keep it. For reservations taken through the Wix software, your data will be stored only in UK.

 

We will not contact you for marketing purposes by email, phone or text message unless you have given your prior consent and disclosed your contact details to us. We will not pass your details to any third parties for marketing purposes unless you have expressly permitted us to. Furthermore, you can change your marketing preferences at any time by contacting us by email at hello@thecrownatarford.co.uk.
